About

The Spawner is a rock-type block used to create automated mob farms or populate areas with creatures. In survival mode it cannot be broken without creative tools, but admins can place and configure them directly using commands or creative inventory.

Use /give @p minecraft:spawner 1 to add one to your inventory. Once placed, right-click it (in creative mode) to change which mob it spawns, adjust spawn rates, and set activation range. Spawners are stackable up to 64 per slot, making it practical to stock multiple for a large farm project.
