Redstone Dust is the powdered form of redstone ore, obtained by mining redstone ore with a pickaxe. It stacks to 64 and serves as the fundamental building block for redstone circuits, the wiring that powers contraptions, mechanisms, and automation on your server.

When placed on a block, redstone dust forms a conductive wire that transmits power from a signal source (like a lever, button, or repeater) to adjacent redstone components up to 15 blocks away. It visibly glows when active, making circuit paths easy to trace. Redstone dust itself can be broken and collected instantly, making it simple to adjust or redesign circuits.
