The Lightning Rod is a block that attracts lightning during thunderstorms and safely conducts it into the ground, preventing damage to nearby builds. Admins use it to protect important structures, farms, or player bases from lightning-caused fires and block destruction.
Place the rod on top of a structure or the highest point you want to protect. When lightning strikes within its range, it will redirect the bolt harmlessly and emit a redstone signal that can trigger mechanisms or alarms. Since it's not stackable, you'll need to place each rod individually on your server.
