Infested Stone Bricks are stone brick blocks that contain hidden silverfish. When a player or tool breaks one, a silverfish mob spawns and the block is destroyed. On servers, admins use them to create mob traps, control silverfish populations, or add challenge to specific areas.

These blocks stack to 64 and can be obtained with the /give command. They are diggable but break instantly with no tools required. Breaking them without Silk Touch will always trigger the silverfish spawn, so use Silk Touch if you want to move or store them without releasing the mobs.
