About

The Book and Quill is a single-item craftable that lets players write and store custom text. It does not stack, so each book takes one inventory slot regardless of how many you spawn. Admins hand these out when setting up creative servers, building worlds, or distributing custom lore and instructions.

Spawn it with /give @p minecraft:writable_book 1 targeted at a specific player, or adjust the selector and quantity as needed. Once in a player's inventory, they open it by using (right-click) and can type freely into its pages before signing and sealing it into a final Book.
