About
The Beacon is a special utility block that emits a light level of 15 and activates when placed above a pyramid made of Iron, Gold, Diamond, or Emerald blocks. Once powered, it projects a beam skyward and grants nearby players status effects based on the pyramid's size and configuration.
Admins use beacons to mark important locations, create buff zones, or reward players in key areas. The beacon's effect range and power tier increase with each layer of the pyramid beneath it, a single-layer pyramid grants one effect, while a four-layer pyramid unlocks two simultaneous effects and increased range. You can select which effect the beacon provides by interacting with it.
Beacons stack in your inventory and can be broken with any tool or by hand. They maintain their effect selection even when moved.
